This entire page is a bit work in progress and I'm slowly adding more text as I keep pondering my clan.

This is all my (the founders) thoughts and ideas for what I wish the Suprelic clan should be, my yap of philosophy and ideology behind why I even decided to make this clan to begin with.

Suprelic is essentially me yearning for a larger than life experience that I somehow can't find anywhere else. I want to be able to visit other countries, explore cool places and randomly spot a sticker with Suprelic written on it and know that one of my members had been there. Just the ability to spot something in the corner somewhere and know, thats something I made, its something I'm a part of. This is a secret I'm in on.

One day in a thousand years into the future, on some space station in the middle of fuckall space in a completely different solar system you'd be able to spot a sticker, or a patch, or maybe a hangout spot thats by and for Suprelic. I dont want Suprelic to just be some dead discord server where people occasionally chat in, I want it to be a note written on a space station saying "Suprelic was here", a Suprelic sticker placed in landmark areas that arent even avaible to tourists yet if you ever find yourself there you'd spot it and know, Suprelic was there too.

I want to create my own voyager, just like NASA. A thing I create that I send out into the world for it to exist for all eternity. I want Suprelic to live on way beyond me and be forever going on. Even if the world ends then Suprelic will still live on, untouched by time.

When you explore an abandoned building somewhere, having to scout out the location and make sure noone is around to see you enter. You get a sense of pure authenticity, this experience isnt a themepark ride, its not ending with a gift shop and achieved through a paid subscription. You do this for real, you got up and went out and did something. And it opens up a whole different world that you otherwise would never encounter in your normal day to day life. It somehow feels free. That same sensation is what I want Suprelic to give, thats how I view Suprelic.

Suprelic is currently a gaming clan, but I dont want it to be just a gaming clan forever. I want it to be Suprelic, not tied to a theme. I want Suprelic to in a weird meta sense be about Suprelic. I want its purpose to be self sustaining. Not based in anything outside of that. You're in Suprelic to be in Suprelic. This isnt a chess club, its not a step on a ladder towards further benefit. It's Suprelic, thats what youre here for.

Suprelic in a perfect world

My dream idea of what Suprelic is does vary. Some days I imagine it as a cool social club kinda clan with a nice clubhouse to hang out at where the members urbex at cool hard to reach spots and does otherwise cool shit, and other days I imagine it as a way bigger thing with a giant castle for all the members to live in and with different chapters all over the world. Just something cool thats worth being a part of.

Anyone who joins today will join the same Suprelic someone thousands of years in the future joins. I want to create a timeless, cool little thing for anyone to join, yet at the same time its the most larger than life creation ever.

Suprelic was established the 23rd november 2019, at exactly 6pm CEST (I know this due to it being made in destiny 2 and bungie.net having saved the exact time and date of Suprelics making) But thats not when the idea behind Suprelic was established, it started since I was born. I've always been seeking a club or a clan to be apart of, something esoteric and cool to partake in.

When i was a kid I loved making silly little "playground clubs" with my classmates where we would establish our own secret gang that you'd have to make yourself worthy of joining. I've also always loved paranormal, supernatural obscure things. The element of weirdness, secrecy and things just being outside the norm has always caught my attention. It breaks anyones monotome idea of what reality is and what should and shouldn't make sense. I was an adventurous child growing up, attracted to weirdness and difference. Searching for secrets and exclusivity.

The only real places you can find that sense of actual realworld exclusivity and authentic adventure today is through urban exploring. Discovering and exploring abandoned buildings, taking in the lost past that it holds and enjoying the beautiful views. Urbex being illegal due to the fact that you're illegally trespassing on private property makes it a way more authentic experience since you can only truly get it through either exploring yourself or getting other people to let you in on their secret info.

That is what im missing in life, everything nowadays is full of subscription services, newsletters and meaningless financially based bullshit. I want the humanity back and I want to make a clan thats just as authentic as finding an old abandoned building with your buddies and claiming it as your own that people can join you at as long as they stay in on the secret.

Back when the clan idea slowly started and what inspired it.

I believe the idea of establishing a formal clan started back in 2013 when the last of us came out, since in that videogame exists a group called "The Fireflies" and i thought they were incredibly cool. The whole philosophy behind that fictional faction of absolute belief in a cure against the cordyceps apocalypse, being a beacon of hope yet also being an esoteric underground group that stays hidden from authority just amazed me.

I know the Harry Potter franchise is riddled with controversy and lots of plotholes and such, but I'd lie if I said it isnt also a huge inspiration for Suprelic. The whole Harry Potter franchise really is built on what The Suprelic spirit is about, this idea that you'd get your letter to hogwarts and be taken away from your monotone boring life into a world of magic and mystery. I love the idea of the hogwarts houses, which I guess Suprelic in a sense is. Something exclusive that you join and represent. In a great magic castle of hogwarts, something I'd lovet to see Suprelic have too. A grand Suprelic castle, full of magic and mystery. The whole aesthetic and vibe of the Harry Potter universe is so amazing and I want that same joy and wonder it brings for Suprelic. ...but without the shitty author and plotholes though.

The Fallout videogame series have also been a major influence in the making of Suprelic, providing me with a ton of inspiration from all the incrdibly unique and varying factions in those games. With Fallout 4 being a game I played on my brothers laptop when I was young.

I played around with a lot of different names for what I wanted Suprelic to be called, being a perfectionist with my magnum opus idea of a clan it had to be the perfect name. I knew it wasn't going to be called some words that already exists in any language like "gamer legion clan" or "Alpha Wolves Group" since that's both corny and just unoriginal, plus it would probably already be taken somewhere by someone. So I realised i'd have to outright invent a new word to name my clan. It took a little while but as I was playing Destiny 2 with a friend and looking at all the different clans other players were in I quickly spent a minute pondering potential ways to make up a new word.

The word "psychedelic" sounded cool to me, also considering that psychedelics are pretty wild as a thing in itself. Drugs that makes you see all kinds of wild stuff (though I had never done any drugs) and my brother was big into the clothing brand "Supreme" at the time too. So I just took those two words and combined them into one unique new word. Suprelic. I couldn't ask for a better name to name my clan. And immediately that's what I did.

One day I hope I'll make Suprelic a nice logo, but my absolute perfectionism towards this clan is a double edged sword since so far I haven't been able to come up with one...

I want leadership in Suprelic to be more of a management thing, and not be some superior rank above normal members. A democratically elected council that leads by examply and keeps control on the clan. But I still want Suprelic to be fully capable of functioning with no leadership, just the members coming together and democratically keeping things going.

Essentially I want leadership in Suprelic to be for ease, a council so it won't turn into a dictator culty thing with one singular person on the top.

I decided to make it a council, just 4 members being elected to run Suprelic for a while at a time. Never giving any singular individual full leadership so it never feels like one member is above others (I know its ironic for me to say as im the founder and currently singularly leading Suprelic)

I do not want Suprelic to be a money thing, it is not a business nor is it some paid thing. And it never will be. I simply refuse to ever let it be about money, ever. Any time anything like this becomes transactional or otherwise about money, it immediately gets ruined. It might not fall apart instantly but over time it loses all appeal and turns rotted by the simple need for profit.

I know Suprelic can't truly be some fantasy no money thing in a society that runs on money and I dont want it to be some communist hippie thing, but I just want it to be ran by the members for the members. Money and business should only really be a part of Suprelic if that is needed. If Suprelic exist in a utopia world of no money or finance, then Suprelic should be fully capable of existing and thriving without it.

Suprelic is not a communist utopian clan, nor is it a capitalist money making profitable business. It is just Suprelic. A clan that should be able to thrive perfectly fine by itself, by its members for its members. And anyone who wants to join.

I want membership in Suprelic to be something, to have real value. Something cool that you genuinely would be excited about and proud of. Not just some subscription based newsletter or a random forum you join and forget all about. I want the type of member who joins with a commitment to Suprelic, that wants to be active and a part of it long term. Not just another number that never interacts with Suprelic or anyone in it.

The future continues to seem more and more uncertain and unstable, with war, climate change and hostile technology advancing into every day life against the will of regular people. It's scary and uncertain, and I just want to have some sense of clear future ahead of me. I think most people do, and I definitely see Suprelic as being that. Something stable and more for the people than what the future looks like.

I don't know whats going to happen in the future but I do hope that Suprelic will last essentially forever. Always being just how I vision it to be.

It would be cool for Suprelic to become a big cool thing, with a club house and a bunch of cool unique members that all are commited to this clan theyre in.

I just hope it continues on thriving long after I'm gone.
